I am employed as a law librarian at the St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami Gardens, FL.

Before I was a law librarian, I worked in the textbook department of the bookstore at Syracuse University, where I also went to graduate school. Before that, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Television-Radio at Ithaca College. I was also guitarist for The Fink Squad (aka Indecision aka The Piranha Brothers) from 1994 to 1999.

Besides being a law librarian and musician, I am also an avid concert-goer, home cook and photographer. It is these things which occupy the bulk of this site. I am particularly interested in D.I.Y. culture, independent activities of various types and how work and art intersect with consumer culture.

I am also a hockey fan, primarily following the Florida Panthers, Philadelphia Flyers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks. I also follow the rest of the NHL and some international tournaments and AHL teams. My hockey writing can be found at SBNation's Litter Box Cats.

This site is a work-in-progress. I am learning Drupal as I build it, and so there will be frequent changes to everything as I learn more. I expect it will be stable by Summer 2010 or thereabouts.
